Musher Question & Answer
How many years have you been running dogs?
Tell us about your dogs?
Half of the dogs will be veterans of the 2017 Yukon Quest. There will be 3-1,000 mile rookie dogs that will be gaining from the experience. All dogs will go on to continue in the 2018 Iditarod as well.
What do you love most about running sled dogs?
The companionship, travelling around the state where no other form of travel could take you. Above all - the silence!
Why did you enter the Yukon Quest? What are your goals for the race?
Ran 2017 and LOVED the trail and the people. Can't wait to get out there again.
What music do you listen to on the trail?
How did your dogs get their names?/ How do you choose names?
Each litter has a theme and then the puppy's personality tends to dictate the name from there. On the other hand, sometimes they just get stuck with a name!
