Yukon Quest Testimonials
Having volunteered for numerous other races and events around western Canada I can honestly say the Yukon Quest is far and away the best for being organized and looking after their volunteers. I am preparing to head back to Scroggie Creek for a second year.
Greg Morton, Alberta, Canada

The Yukon Quest has been run every February since 1984 over 1,000 miles/ 1,600 km of wilderness trail conditions between Whitehorse, Yukon and Fairbanks, Alaska. This incredible international winter sports event starts the second Saturday of February regardless of weather conditions and lasts from 10 to 14 days, depending on weather, trail conditions and team speed.

Yukon Quest mushers must be at least 18 years old by the race start date and must have demonstrated their ability to successfully complete a 200-mile and a 300-mile sled dog race within the previous 30 months to be allowed to enter the Yukon Quest.
