Starter Program

Welcome to the 2012 Starter Program!

Want to be at the center of the action and get to know your favourite musher?  Then make a bid! Net proceeds of the Starter Program increase the total value of the purse.

The bidding begins August 6th, 2011 – the first day of Sign-Ups for the 2012 Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race.

The “Official Starter” package consists of:

1. One ticket to the Start Banquet to join your musher’s table.
2. Access Pass to the staging area pre-race to watch (help) your musher prepare.
3. Ride to the start line with your musher (either on the runners or a volunteer snowmachine).
4. Autographed 2012 Yukon Quest poster signed by your musher.
5. A picture of you holding the sled with your musher at the start chute.
6. Your name read by the announcer at the start line. 

Bids start at $200 with a minimum increment of $25.
The auction closes on January 30, 2012 at 12 noon AK Time..

Your bid will be posted as soon as possible during normal working hours.
