My last name and six in the family plus dogs.
15
From my crazy daughter.
My children forced me to name them X-Men names and some of my dogs are named after local mountains.
I like 100-mile races. My goals are to experience another trail and, if other entries are slow enough, to win.
I love the dogs and outdoors, and being away from people.
I have two dogs that give me some speed, usually in lead, Gambit and Mimic. Without them, the volunteers would be waiting a long time for me to cross the finish line.
On the Main Run in Barkerville, B.C., coming around a corner to find two volunteers with masks on riding very old fashioned snowmobiles and robbing the mail we were carrying.
The sound of silence.
Sonja, a lovely young lady from Germany, spent a winter with us. She was great and so talented and fun to have. She entered a skijor race and worked to hard helping the dogs she could barely breathe and came in second.
