The Yukon Quest International Association (Canada) is excited to announce significant purse increases for all three 2023 Yukon Quest races.

The purse of the Yukon Quest 450 has increased by $10,000 to a new total minimum guaranteed purse of $45,000 paid to the top 10 with $8,550 going to the winner.

The Yukon Quest 250 purse has also increased by $7,000 to a minimum guaranteed purse of $22,000 paid to the top 10 with $4,180 to the winner, and the Yukon Quest 100 purse has increased by $3,000 to a new minimum guaranteed purse of $5,500 paid to the top five with the winner taking home $1,485.

As the community gears up for a return of Quest racing from Whitehorse to Dawson City, the Yukon Quest would like to thank our many sponsors who through their contributions have allowed for this increase to the guaranteed minimum purse this winter.

One of the Yukon Quest’s signature fundraising events, its online auction, starts later this month on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Links to the auction will be available on the Yukon Quest website and social media channels.

The Yukon Quest is also hosting its annual Pet Photos with Santa on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Yukon Quest office at the end of Main Street. Photos are by donation.

The Yukon Quest 450 starts at Shipyards Park in Whitehorse on Saturday, February 11, 2023, followed immediately by the Yukon Quest 250 and Yukon Quest 100.
