Participants of the Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race always look forward to their stay in Dawson City, and that unique northern hospitality will continue in 2017, thanks in part to Northern Vision Development (NVD).
As the Yukon Quest Official Hotel – Yukon, NVD will provide accommodations for the officials, veterinarians and race team at the Downtown Hotel in Dawson City during the race’s 36-hour layover. They will also offer quality rooms at their three hotels in Whitehorse – the Coast High Country Inn and Best Western Gold Rush Inn – prior to the race start.
“There will be a lot of activity in Whitehorse during the week leading up to the race,” stated Natalie Haltrich, Executive Director of the Yukon Quest – Yukon. “Our officials, veterinarians and race team will all be working hard to get everything ready to go, and they’ll be looking for a comfortable place to rest before embarking on their big adventure. NVD’s quality accommodations, excellent hospitality, and convenient downtown locations make them a perfect fit.”
NVD is offering a special rate at all four of their hotels for mushers, support teams, volunteers and fans. Mention the 2017 Yukon Quest while booking and receive the following rates: Downtown Hotel at $105/night; Gold Rush Inn at $112.50/night; and Coast High Country at $103/night. All rates are based on single or double occupancy and do not include taxes. The rates for the Whitehorse hotels include airport shuttle and free Internet access.
The 2017 Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race starts February 4th in Whitehorse, Yukon.
