How did your kennel get its name?
All of Jim Lanier’s dogs are white in color
How did you get started running dogs?
I was working with a volunteer organization in Bethel, Alaska. I met some mushers and some wonderful dogs, then I started chasing my mushing dreams.
What do you love most about dog sledding?
Being in the wilderness and bonding with the dogs.
Please share any interesting stories or facts about your dogs that will be running in the 2024 race:
All of the Northern Whites are wonderful and talented animals. It will be difficult to decided on the best 14 for the race.

Why did you enter the 2024 Yukon Quest and what are your goals for the race?
Ever since I started running dogs, I have dreamed of running a team from Whitehorse to Dawson City

Jim Lanier is my mentor and handles for me in races. He is an incredible dog man. His experience, wisdom, and mentorship have been indispensable in my racing career.

Race volunteers are some of the best people I’ve encountered. Every single one I have seen has been great.
