How did your kennel get its name?
How did you get started running dogs?
I started running dogs working for Jessie Royer helping out running tours during the winter. I immediately fell in love with the dogs and spending my winter months helping train Jessie’s team for the Iditarod out on the beautiful trails here in Montana.
What do you love most about running dogs?
I really enjoy spending as much time with the dogs as possible. They’re incredible athletes and it’s amazing being able to get to spend so much time with them doing something we all enjoy so much.

Are you a member of any other organizations involved in sled dog sports?
Why did you enter the 2025 YQ450 and what are your goals for the race?
I will be running Jessie Royer’s second team of younger less experienced dogs, getting them some needed racing experience. My only goal is to finish strong while the younger dogs gain some fun racing experience.
What music do you listen to on the trail?
Sad cowboy music or really, really bad pop.

Jeff Pace is one of a kind. During Race to the Sky 2023 Jeff was the single handler for 4 teams of dogs from our kennel and did it flawlessly.

Seeing any and every fan of the sport of mushing is my favorite, we couldn’t do it without you.
