The first day I did a little race with my 2 friends on sled dogs, I heard on the finish line, “go fluffies, go!”, and it stayed with me.
I Followed the Yukon Quest in 2015 and that's where it all started.
Most of the dogs got their name from special places where I've been or wish to go. With a few names from Brittany in France and French Polynesia for example.
This year I will be running the race in honor of my dog, Iroise.
The connection I have with the dogs and exploring new trails with them.
This year I will be running the race in honor of my dog, Iroise. She has been diagnosed with bone cancer and now only has three legs. Her two pups will run as leaders and will express all the teaching they received from mom.
I had an amazing time at time station 1 in 2022
