How did your kennel get its name?

From fans that cheer us up at the first race at DPSAY.

How did you get started running dogs?

I followed the YQ in 2015 and that’s where it started.

What do you love most about dog sledding?

The connection with the dogs. Exploring new trails with them.

Please share any interesting stories or facts about your dogs that will be running in the 2024 race:

Are you a member of any other organizations in sled dog sports?

No

Why did you enter the 2024 Yukon Quest and what are your goals for the race?

This year I will be running the race in honor of Iroise, who got diagnosed with bone cancer. She’s now on three legs but her two pups will run as leader and show off the teaching they got from their mom.

Do you listen to music on the trail? If so, what types?

The sound of wilderness is the best symphony ever! No need to listen to any other music.

How did your dogs get their names?

Most of the dogs got their name from special places where I’ve been or I wish to go. With a few names from Brittany (France) and French Polynesia, for example.
