A veteran of the Yukon Quest trail, Rick is well-known to mushers and a favorite on the Vet teams. We are excited to have Rick back for another Yukon Quest, helping primarily with the YQ100 and YQ250 races.
In his own words:
I am a veterinarian from Calgary, Alberta. I graduated in 1986 and have volunteered at one or two mid or long distance sled dog races every year since then. I have been lucky enough to help out at the Quest many times I the past. I enjoy all self propelled outdoor sports like biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and that sort of thing. I look forward to meeting new dogs, mushers and volunteers this year.
